Aids prevention campaign
In Ansbach, towards the end of a Europe-wide poster campaign, FACE members at the Platen Gymnasium (Germany), publicized the risks of AIDS: With their own comics they want to show the dangers of this disease especially to young people.
A call for environmental protection
By carrying out a Europe-wide petition the members of FACE are appealing to their fellow citizens’ sense of responsibility with regard to Environmental Protection.
Mediation as a means of preventing violence in schoolsThe members of FACE Germany have set up a website for the group of conflict mediators at the Platen-Gymnasium. At the annual meeting in Carlisle, participants from 14 countries put forward the principle of peer mediation as a reliable means of preventing violence in schools.

The problems of nuclear power The members of FACE-Germany are producing posters which highlight the risks of nuclear energy, and suggest alternatives.

Throughout Europe young people are taking part in an online game designed by FACE members to give children and teenagers easy access to information about Europe and its culture. FACE members are producing original “Encyclopaedia Articles” and by publishing their contributions on the Internet they get a sense of satisfaction from their achievements and the outcomes of their team work.
